Legacy Imaging today announced the confirmation of its registration for the ISO 9001:2000 certification. As part of its continuing corporate quality program, Legacy recently received registration for ISO 9001:2000 certification by AQSR International, Inc.. An ISO certification represents an industry-recognized level of quality and service that enables customers to be confident in their decision to partner with Legacy Imaging. This new version of the ISO quality standard places greater accountability on executive management's involvement and measurable quality objectives in the Quality System. Additionally, the audit for compliance with the standard now examines the extent to which a company's Quality System contains customer-focused elements, including understanding needs, meeting requirements, keeping customers informed and measuring satisfaction.
